So, Cherene commented about how great I’m doing with my photos (Thanks Cherene!!) She also wanted photos for her daughter. So we went out and did some pictures for her birthday….Being 6 is so much fun! I had a blast and Cheyanna seemed to have a great time. Here are some of the photos….I love taking pictures of kids! Also – this is me playing with a few different “story boards” and frames….         We were cleaning the house and I noticed this….Strange, I didn’t put that there.
But it was too funny not to take a picture. I have no idea which of my children decided to put the plastic “play” knife in the real knife block….but at least they are putting things away….even if not in exactly the right place Kimball is my “little” brother. (He is 16 months younger than I am….little bit of useless trivia)….He and Diana live about 2 miles away – and it’s fabulous because we get to see Diana and Grace a whole lot…(yeah, we like visiting with Kimball too).
They are expecting Girl Number Two….Sometime in early September and Diana wanted to do some family pictures with the baby on the inside.
We went to Las Sendas yesterday…(North East Mesa). It was a warmish evening….but we had a blast taking pictures.
Grace did such a great job! They did bribe her with candy at the end…but even then – she would smile for me…I love GRACE!!!
So, here are a sample of the photos. I finished editing them this evening and I need to get the disk over to Diana. She is patiently waiting for the photos….(I love you too Diana!!)
     Today was a day of service. (at least that’s my rational) I wasn’t on the ball – and I didn’t offer to take Missionary Photos of my friend until Friday….So today we went out and took some pictures of her before she leaves on her Mission to Birmingham Alabama. (She leaves on Tuesday June 2nd….2 days away!) Here are some of the photos – I think they turned out fabulous!! Sandy is really excited to be a Missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I too am really excited for her!!   So, here I am….

Nope! Surfing the web?? Kinda…. I’ve just spent the last 2 hours downloading FREE PhotoShop Actions from coffeeteaphotography.blogspot.com I just want to say a huge THANK YOU to Rita with Coffee Tea Photography – she is a wonderful person!! Thank you for sharing all these fabulous actions! I can’t wait to unzip them and start playing!!!
PS – I let Katie take my D70 out today (with my supervision) I told her she had to photograph shapes…I explained briefly about shutter speed and aperture…Exposure etc. I set the camera to Manual mode, explained how to zero the light meter…. Then I let her loose….Here are a few of the shots she got at the park…    PS….
Here is a bunch of photos from when we went swimming today – it was a busy day! I was a little cranky because I didn’t get a “non-blurry” one of Katie. She was just having too much fun to hold still!! Also, I’m really like these story-board layouts….thanks again to Rita!  |
