Bridget and Rich own a little part of my heart. I’ve had the opportunity to work with Bridget and the kids she is involved with. She is an amazing mentor and a fabulous example. (I’m sad to say that I’ve recently moved…and now I don’t get to see her as regularly).
Being part of their wedding day was amazing for Chris and I. The Phoenix Zoo is the location of their first date – and it just made sense for them to have their wedding there. (While we were walking around the Zoo doing photos…people would ask if they met at the zoo…which is funny – how often do you meet someone at the zoo?? I almost wanted to respond “Yeah, actually – they just met today”. On another totally unrelated note – the passerby’s and people at the zoo were SO NICE!! I had so many people jumping out of my way so I could take a photo. They were kind, respectful and very very understanding about the photos we were taking.)

My favorite photo?? It has to be the First Look photo – with Bridget and Rich holding hands and the biggest smile on Bridget’s face….That photo just makes my heart sing.

Toni Ngo - I have seen a lot of people create zebra pattern with fondant but I can’t imagine fondant would taste as good as buttercream or royal icing. I love how you use royal icing (it looks like royal icing in the pic) to stencil the zebra prints and on the emboidery leaves. Who would have thought using zebra prints on a wedding cake? The white zebra prints give the cake a clean, simple chic but yet elegant look.
